What EditLab Alter needs
- A Mac with Apple silicon (M1 or later) and macOS 26.5 or later
- Nothing else — no account and no sign-in
Opening, checking, fixing and exporting all run on your Mac. Your clips are never uploaded.

Include: your macOS version, the EditLab Alter version (menu EditLab Alter → About), what you were trying to fix, and the clip if you can share it.
Subscriptions
- What's free. Opening clips, finding problems and fixing them, and your first 10 exports, which carry a small EditLab mark.
- The plans. EditLab Alter Pro is $19.99 USD a month or $99.99 USD a year, with no mark. EditLab Alter is $9.99 USD a month and keeps the small mark.
- Changing or cancelling. Apple handles the subscription. Open the App Store app, click your name, then Account Settings, and choose Manage next to Subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the month or year ends to stop the next renewal.
- A new Mac. Sign in to the App Store with the same Apple Account and your subscription comes with you.
